I have used Mike’s services since 2003. He has catered quite a few outdoor events for me ranging from company parties to pre-game football parties. His sauces are so tasty that one of my friends remarked he might put it on everything including his breakfast cereal! The entrees I primarily order are smoked meats, sauces, and side dishes that are common at barbeques. Everything has been remarkably delicious, and I have learned a lot about outdoor cooking from him as well. He loves giving advice and sharing his knowledge. I recommend him to anyone needing an affordable, delicious meal delivered or cooked on-site.

I have used the no name gourmet for various functions, all with superb success and satisfaction.  Mike catered our son’s wedding breakfast/dinner at an outdoor garden event; the food was a big success, and added to the delight of all of our 65 guests.  I used him for some Boy Scout recognition awards banquets for about 200 total participants, again the food was delicious.  Mike Roberts has a great way of preparing delicious food.  He has even taught some Dutch oven classes to our Boy Scout training workshops of about 50.   I have been treated to his cooking for over 10 years at various functions and have always been delightfully satisfied and well fed.  I would recommend his services for any and all events.

 Delicious food!  My son was extremely pleased with the brisket which you cooked for his wedding luncheon.  He said he hadn’t had such good barbeque since he left Texas. The noname gourmet is our favorite caterer. We order lunch for 20-45 people and no matter what menu we choose, everyone enjoys their meal. The food is always fresh and the meat is extremely tender and juicy. Mike uses just the right combinations of seasonings to please any palate.

The jalapeno and beer braised beef you served to our group of 17 hungry men was hearty, flavorful and ample.  The meal was very satisfying, and the two desserts you prepared were outstanding.  I would have thought that the molten chocolate cake would have been the more popular of the two, but the fresh berry cobbler was the top choice.  Thanks for making our trip to the mountains in Utah delicious and memorable.

My husband and I, are nearing 40 this year, and probably in the last year and a half, I ran into some health issues.  

My husband is a natural health doctor/specializing in nutrition as well; ran a few detailed tests on me which found I had food sensitivities to gluten, soy, dairy and eggs.  Kind of a rude awakening!  As such, we had started to try to follow a "paleo" diet this year.  Trying to throw away old habits and begin anew we found this quite hard.  We found ourselves eating the same meals EVERYDAY!  

 We did this for about 90 days, and lo and behold my stomach pains went away and most impressive, my followup appointments showed shrunken cysts and no more polyps!  My doctor was amazed.  

Even though I had started to feel better than I had in years, eating began to be a chore and no fun at all. That was until I found Chef Mike! As my husband’s birthday rolled around and we tried not to go out to eat as often, I still wanted to surprise my husband with a special meal.  Looking online for a personal chef, we found Chef Mike.


Chef Mike came into our home, to consult with us our needs.  He took a tour of our kitchen to see what he might need.  About a week later, I found a list of about 200 mouthwatering dishes to choose from!  I couldn't wait to try them all!  

 The morning of your cook day, Chef Mike will shop at your preferred stores for the freshest ingredients. Then comes and spends the day cooking in YOUR kitchen!  Where he prepares, bakes, sautes, broils, in his own cookware.  Then he portions, labels, refrigerates the goods.  Lastly, leaving you a kitchen cleaner than when he came!  

We love Chef Mike!!  And even more importantly, we love Chef Mike's talent! 

We have since had Chef Mike cook for us monthly, it has been so fun to try new things and to put fun into our eating again!

We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday in Park City. On our final evening, we decided to host a dinner for 20 people at our rental home.
Chef Mike came as a referral from the rental home company, and we were quite pleased! He was very responsive to both my emails and my calls. We were able to set a menu within our budget that provided a variety of delicious Italian cuisine.
When Mike arrived at the home, there was nothing else for us to do. His staff quickly set up the tables with beautiful linens, plates and silverware. We had a wonderful appetizer of baked brie and vegetables, and the main course was lasagna, Chicken Saltimboca, Pasta Primavera, salad and  fresh green beans.
I am still salivating over Mike's lasagna as I write this! It was phenomenal!!
All of our friends enjoyed the dinner and appreciated being able to eat in the comfort of our rental home. I would highly recommend Chef Mike to anyone who is looking for a great way to enjoy a delicious meal within a smaller, more intimate setting.

Chef Mike was amazing! I was planning a birthday party from 800 miles away. He worked with me on the menu, stayed my budget, delivered fabulous food and went WAY above and beyond. We needed lunch for 18 at our shop at Miller Motorsports Park, as we hosted Porsche race car drivers over two weekends. Mike provided four days of wonderfully presented delicious food, arriving on time, with the dishes kept warm or cold as needed, each meal more delicious than the last. The kabobs with peanut sauce and lemon-grass-kissed marinated cucumbers were out of this world. We plan to use No Name Gourmet for all our catering needs and just wish we could take him with us to the "away races"!
